Description
I was in the planning stage for my next collection of large watercolours when it dawned on me that the actual process of planning the paintings was as important as drawing and painting them.
So I decided to film this part of the art process and make it part of the course.
The large watercolors I have planned were inspired during my working holiday at Blue sails in Anglesey, North Wales UK.
There are about 10 pieces planned and each one will be the subject of a prelim planning tutorial, followed by a full tutorial teaching how to draw,paint and frame the large watercolor painting.
You will see how I picked a prime location to inspire.
You will see the best sketch I made in situ.
You will watch in real time how I paint my pre lim watercolor sketch
You will see which paints I use.
You will see which brushes I use.
And you will see how I realise which colors and which composition to use in the main piece.
The first part of this course is on how to plan a masterpiece not how to paint one.
All these things in just a half hour lesson! Give it a go, but be careful, you might be inspired to have a go at the full size piece!
